The particle "yo" : よ



Contrary to "no", the particle "yo", which is also used at the end of a sentence, rather tells that the idea expressed in the sentence is the speaker's personal opinion.

Ex.:

Samui desu yo = (I think that) it's cold.
Ii desu yo = (I think that) it's good.
